PALACIO DO PLANALTO

EL Palacio do Planato is the seat of executive authority of the Brazilian Federal Government. The building is located in the Plaza de los Tres Poderes(Praça dos Três Poderes) in Brasilia, and was designed for Oscar Niemeyer. EL Palacio do Planato was part of pilot project of the city and one of the firs buildings built in the city.

 

The building of the Palacio do Planato, her oficial name is 'Palace of right', construction begin on july 10 of 1958 and obeyed to architectural project designed by Oscar Niemayer 1956.

with seat of government, the expansion “or Planato” is often used as a metonymy for the branch executive of government.

 

The principal working office of the President of the republic is located in the Palacio do Planalto.

The palace has of four floor of high, and have an area of 36000 m2. Other four building adjacent are also part of the complex.
